Calming The Mind
Meditation
As you develop your physical yoga practice, you may come to a point when you wish to explore some of the wider practices which bring a new depth of calm, peace and tranquility to the mind. This is often the effects of chanting. So twice a month we’ll run a short session which allows you to explore the meaning of yogic chants. These are generally added to the monthly Power Relaxation class held on a Wednesday evening and the Thursday Mysore class.
Mantra Meditation with Discussion

Mantra Meditation with Breathing Techniques
Dates: Thurs 16th June; 14th July; 11th August
Start 8:30pm & finish 9:00pm
Fee: Free to people who attend the main class
By donation if you just want to attend this part of the class.

Power Relaxation
A montage of yoga techniques which help to still the over-active mind. Here you’ll learn massage techniques to induce a sense of calmness in the nervous system, learn to extend your natural breath to still the mind and restorative yoga to rejuvenate the body. Suitable for all including complete beginners.
Dates: Weds 1st June; Weds 6th July; Weds 3rd August; 6:30pm to 8:00pm
Fee: £12.50 drop in. Concessions for block bookings available.
