Develop Your Yoga Practice
Improve strength and focus to create a flowing yoga practice
Once you have gained confidence in your practice from your Foundation Courses, the next stage is to improve focus by developing physical and mental strength through learning classical standing postures. By buiding familiarity, your personalised practice will soon start to flow smoothly from one posture to the next. Then you'll have what is commonly known as a Mysore Yoga Practice or a Personalised Self Practice.
Of course you can join any of the Mysore classes to do this, but if you feel you need time to discuss the postures as you grow then try and make the Tuesday morning classes and work towards perfecting your Standing Postures before you take your knowledge to the Sitting Postures. We also look at how to develop your breathing techniques which helps to balance your body’s metabolism.

A highly focused class, where you are assisted by the Instructor to help you improve your alignment as you flow from one posture to another within the Ashtanga Yoga Primary Series. Your practice then becomes a moving meditation. And when the Instructor feels you understand your body’s movement, how to control your breath and your concentration is strong - then you are shown the next few postures within the sequence, thus building a strong, practice that you can take charge of. As each student is guided on an individual basis the start times are flexible.
Days: Mon evening 6:30pm to 9:30pm. Latest arrival time 8:00pm. Weds afternoon 1:15pm to 2:45pm Thurs evening 6:30pm to 8:30pm. Latest arrival time 7:00pm. Fee: £15.00 drop-in. Concessions for block bookings. What's Next
